Laura grew up as a pastor’s kid and was all too familiar with the rules and regulations of religion. At 16, she was a full-blown drug addict, and she had her first child at 19. Suffering through abusive relationships with men and strained relationships at home, Laura dove deeper into drugs and alcohol, and she became homeless.
